Next Fitkid summer camp will be held in Martfu in Hungary between the 17th and 22nd of june 2010. Iceland is going to take part with the small group of participants. We will use the oportunity to take part in a profassional consulation for trainers.
11 Icelandic girl were competing in Hódmezövásárhely in Hungary in a Fitkid Open Grand Prix on the 24th of April. We are very happy with their results.
Fitkid European Cup
Fitkid European Cup 2009 was held 1. - 5. October in Hungary, three Icelandic
girls attended the tournament to represent Iceland. Twelve countries attended,
Spain, Bulgaria and Italy were among these twelve. Total of 150 competitors.
Cristina Isabel Agueda competed in class I. for children born '00 - '01
and got 5th place.
Sunna Lind Ingibergsdóttir competed in class II. for children born '99
- '98 and got 4th place.
Edda Rún Sigurðardóttir competed in class IV. for children born '95 -
'94 and got 15th place.
We congratulate the girls on their success in the competition.

Second International Fit Kid Camp
”The Second International Fit Kid Camp” will be organised by the Hungarian
Fitness Federation, the goal of which, beyond the international professional
advance of Fit Kid, is the professional consultation of experts and friendships
and acquaintances made by children from different countries. It is a professioanl
camp combined with relaxation, in which experienced experts deal with the
children for a week, whereas there is a possibility for regular consultations
for the colleagues. The camp also gives place to an international judges’
course and exam.
Time of the camp: 22 June (Mon) – 28 June (Sun) 2009
Place of the camp: Hungary, Martfű ( This is the town of Thermal Spa)

Travelling: Individually. Airport transfers:
10 euro/person ( Budapest-Martfű) and 10 Euro/person Martfű/Budapest
Intended programmes: - dancing
- training of motion
- teaching acrobatics
- international judges’ course and exam (optional)
- professional consultations about the regulations, the system of
competitions, the organisation
There are apartmans with 3-4 beds a TV and fridge, kitchen, a swimming pool,
a sauna, bowling and other entertainment facilities are available in the camp.
Intended, expected cost: 220 Euro/person/6nights, which includes:
- accommodation,
- holiday resort local tax,
- admission to swimming pool,
- meals 3 times a day,
- training,
- professional programmes,

30% ( 73 Euro) of the participation fee has to be transferred to the bank
account number given per e-mail . Settlement of the total sum has to be made
on arrival on the spot.
The Icelandic Fitness Federation hosted IFF FitKid European Cup 2008
in Reykjavik, October 18.
46 contestants from 8 European countries participated, each and everyone
of them giving a wonderful performance. The Icelandic Fitness Federation could
not be more proud of these young athletes. We thank every participant and
officiant who helped made this possible.

Iceland is organizing the next FitKid European Grand Prix and FitnessWomen
in october 2008.
Relising the importance of mental and physical amongs children and youth
of Iceland , the Icelandic Fitness Federation is proud to hold this prestigius
internationally-acclaimed championship. Our goals are also to present this
prominent activities in the Scandinavian area.
For the time being we are expecting the following countries to attend:
-Spain, Hungary, Serbia, Romania, Slovakia , Ukarina, Austria, Italy, Florida
This will be an open contest , if your country has not participated in previous
edition but you are interested in doing it this year please contact us not
later then august!
